JURASSIC GIN & TONIC

Ingredients:

  • 5 cl Jurassic Gin
  • 10 cl premium tonic (ideally neutral - Schweppes, Gents)
  • Quality ice cubes
  • Garnish: lime zest, juniper berries

Preparation :

  1. Fill a balloon or highball glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour over 5 cl of Jurassic Gin.
  3. Carefully add 10cl of chilled tonic.
  4. Mix gently with a spoon to avoid breaking the bubbles.
  5. Add the garnish: lime zest twisted over the glass to release the oils, a few juniper berries.

Service Council :

Serve chilled, in a large glass, to allow the aromas to develop fully.

JURASSIC NEGRONI

Ingredients:

  • 3 cl Jurassic Gin
  • 3 cl red vermouth (quality)
  • 3 cl Campari-type bitter
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: orange zest or dried peel

Preparation :

  1. Pour the gin, vermouth and bitter into a mixing glass filled with ice cubes.
  2. Stir gently for 20 seconds to refresh and dilute slightly.
  3. Strain into an old-fashioned glass containing one or more large ice cubes.
  4. Squeeze an orange peel over the glass and garnish.

Jurassic :

Jurassic Gin adds a mineral and herbal touch to this iconic cocktail. Ideal as an aperitif, it becomes a real sensory experience with an artisanal or lightly spiced vermouth.

JURASSIC GIN FIZZ

Ingredients:

  • 5 cl Jurassic Gin
  • 3 cl fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cl sugar syrup
  • 8 cl sparkling water (such as Perrier or San Pellegrino)
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: lemon zest

Preparation :

  •  Pour the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup into a shaker.
  • Add ice cubes and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.
  • Strain into a highball glass filled with ice cubes.
  • Top up with sparkling water.
  • Stir gently and garnish with lemon zest or a botanical touch.

Jurassic :

For a frothier touch, add an egg white to the shaker before shaking (version Silver Fizz), and shake first dry (without ice), then with ice.

JURASSIC GIMLET

Ingredients:

  • 5 cl Jurassic Gin
  • 2 cl fresh lime juice
  • 2 cl sugar syrup (or 1.5 cl for a drier version)
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: lime zest or slice

Preparation :

  1. Pour the gin, lime juice and sugar syrup into a shaker filled with ice cubes.
  2. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
  3. Strain finely into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Garnish with a zest or thin slice of lime.

Jurassic :

The Gimlet is one of the best ways to taste the botanical richness of Jurassic Gin. Adjust the sugar to suit your taste - drier for an aperitif version, sweeter for a rounder touch.

Jurassic Equinox - (a.k.a. Cappuccino)

A vibrant tribute to Damassine and the Jura region. Created by professional barman Michael Kugelin, This cocktail is a link between the fruit heritage of the canton of Jura - and that of its neighbours. Damassine PDO - and the botanical elegance of Jurassic Gin. An original creation that celebrates local identity with finesse and modernity.

Ingredients :

    • 4 cl of Jurassic Gin

    • 2 cl of Damson syrup

    • 2 cl of fresh lime juice

    • 20 cl of unfiltered apple juice

    • A pinch of cinnamon

    • Ice cubes

    • Dried apple slice (for decoration)

Preparation (classic version) 

  1. Pour the unfiltered apple juice, Jurassic Gin, Damasson syrup, fresh lime juice and a pinch of cinnamon into a shaker.
  2. Shake vigorously for a few seconds until the texture is fresh and slightly frothy.
  3. Filter through a fine sieve into a balloon or long drink glass filled with fresh ice cubes.
  4. Sprinkle a little cinnamon over the mousse.
  5. Garnish with a slice of dried apple.

Jurassic :

Winter variant :
The same recipe can also be prepared hot.
Simply replace the cold apple juice with hot apple juice, mix the ingredients directly in the glass with a bar spoon, without a shaker.
Serve it piping hot - a perfect cocktail for the evening. winter months, which warms up and reveals even sweeter, spicier aromas.

Result:
A fruity, sweet and slightly spicy cocktail - elegant and refreshing in summer, comforting and warm in winter.
